RODNEY'S ENGLISH DISCO
Catford's premier indietronica artist Rodney Cromwell returns to Happy Robots with his first all new material in three years with the song 'Comrades.' It is the first track taken from his new EP 'Rodney's English Disco'.
Inspired by the recent social and political upheavals in the UK, the song is a robotic turbocharged rebel song for the twitter generation; sonically it sits somewhere between Kraftwerk, Pye Corner Audio and the Best of Divine.
Cromwell's debut album was featured by NME, Electronic Sound Magazine, Huffington Post, BBC 6 Music and more. He was named 'Most Promising New Act' by The Electricity Club and 'Barry was an arms dealer' featured in the 2015 Official Festive 50. In 2018 he is touring in support of the new EP.
