PRESS / RADIO COVERAGE
'Deluxe / Debris' takes its influences from Bowie’s Berlin period and 70’s krautrock while throwing a measure of 80’s synth-pop into the mix. Drifting effortlessly between blasts of perfect pop with songs like ‘Guiding Light’ to ten minute epics such as live favourite, ‘Semaphore’ with its sweeping electronics and krautrock wig-out. The pitch-perfect vocals of Paula Gilmer are refreshingly free of autotune, and sit somewhere between Kylie at her disco-best or an exuberant Sarah Cracknell. It is no surprise that stalwarts of the European synth-scene have been hyping Tiny Magnetic Pets. After supporting NEU! legend Michael Rother, Rusty Egan of Visage and Andy McCluskey of OMD came out as fans. Another fan is former Kraftwerk member and technopop legend Wolfgang Flür who collaborates with the band on two tracks on the album.
“A perfect pop record for the most discerning of tastes”
The album was released on 25 August on 12" vinyl / CD and digital download on all major platforms.
